MISSION
Bright Sparks Foundation of Detroit is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization dedicated to developing the musical, creative and technical skills of string players through the exploration, practice and performance of chamber music in a supportive and fun environment.

Our Core Values:
* We welcome ALL string learners, no matter age, ability, race, or financial means.
* We empower students to make their own musical decisions.
Student voice is an important part of the learning process, including choosing music selections, improvising and playing by ear, programming choices, and rehearsing independently.
* We perform music that is of maximum interest to students. We consciously choose to perform music by under-represented composers.
*We provide real life performing opportunities. We host regular and frequent performances at venues throughout the wider community in the East Detroit and Grosse Pointe area.
